Lunchbox Heaven

A little something that not many people know about me, but will more than likely not come as a surprise, is that I LOVE and collect lunchboxes. So, my collection is pretty weak, I realize that. It’s really hard for me to justify spending money on them, even though I love them so. Most have come from my family. I have two people in my family that worked for Aladdin, the best lunchbox manufacturing company (in my opinion), and had so many amazing lunchboxes as a child. Unfortunately, as I grew up they were sold at garage sales and given away…sad face.

Here’s what I have…

My dad’s Disney lunchbox from the 60’s.

Mom’s 60’s flower power tin lunchbox.

Disney’s The Wuzzles LB. I just purchased this one!
My Care Bear Cousins 1986 LB, I still carry this one to work.

And my newest member, Alf. Thank you to my Mother-in-law for sending me this one!

Here’s a list of the most valuable lunchboxes:

  1. Superman (Universal, 1954) — $13,500
  2. 240 Robert (Aladdin, 1978) — $4,200
